Tooled Leather Feather Bag Charm, Rainbow Beads

deeply hand-tooled leather, worked with fine barb-like lines so the feather's texture does all the talking against a rich cognac-brown finish. A rainbow strand of wood beads dangles from the top, clipped on with a bronze-tone swivel hook.

It's made by Angie Meyers, who holds a BFA in Metalsmithing from Ball State University and has spent 25 years working with texture and contrast in handcrafted jewelry and leather goods alike, out of her studio in Kokomo, Indiana.

Clips easily onto bag handles, backpacks, belt loops, or a keyring. As with any hand-tooled leather, expect natural grain variation and a patina that deepens with wear. Spot clean only — avoid soaking.
